Engineering the ground, since 2001

GeoGab Infrastructure is a Gujarat-based company situated in Surat, one of India's fastest-growing cities. Formed as a partnership firm in 2001, we manufacture and install earth-retaining structures and deliver cutting-edge technology in the fields of earth stability, soil-erosion control, bank protection, slope protection and ground improvement.

MANUFACTURING

We are manufacturers, not merely suppliers. Our Geocon Mattress articulated concrete block revetment system is developed in-house, alongside double-twisted hexagonal mesh gabions, geoblocks, crib walls, tetrapods and GCF. This lets us control quality, honour delivery schedules and tailor every system to the site.

QUALITY

Our gabions are manufactured to IS 16014 : 2012 — mechanically woven, double-twisted hexagonal wire mesh in galvanized or Zn+PVC-coated wire. Every batch is checked for wire gauge, coating and mesh integrity before it leaves the works.

Gabions

From the Italian gabbione, meaning cage. A cage, cylinder or box filled with rock, concrete or soil for road building, retaining wall structures, military applications and landscaping. Mechanically woven, double-twisted hexagonal wire mesh gabions, revet mattresses and rock-fall netting.

Geoblock

Interlocking concrete retaining wall blocks that resist lateral soil pressure where the change in ground elevation exceeds the angle of repose. Up to 10× faster than traditional walls — no formwork, shuttering or mortar, in any weather.

Geocon Mattresses

An articulated concrete block revetment system developed by GeoGab Infrastructure. Concrete blocks interlocked by polypropylene or stainless-steel rope threaded through each block in both directions, with spacing left open for vegetation or granular backfill. Controls erosion from water, wind or vehicular traffic.

Tetrapods

Coastal structures preventing erosion from weather and longshore drift. The tetrahedral form dissipates incoming wave force by letting water flow around rather than against it, and interlocks to reduce displacement — reinforcing seawalls and breakwaters.

GCF / Geo Confab

Flexible dry concrete held in layers of fabric that hardens on hydration into a thin, durable, waterproof concrete layer — concrete in fabric. No plant or mixing equipment: spread the roll, top up with water, ready in 10 hours.

Mattress widths and lengths, block geometry and wire specification are all made to suit site conditions. Irregular mattress sizes can be designed where needed.
